Computer Technologies and the Civil War

Purpose of the Interdisciplinary Project

Example of an Application of Computer Sciences

What effect have Civil War computer games had on the way we view the war? Does gaming take away focus from the underlying causes of the Civil War, and focus too much on its military history? Or does it help people to explore what actually happened? Does it trivialize the controversies then and now, or the hardship endured by those who fought?
